The sparsely populated house that inspired the forum. Anything that you would want in it?

Pink! Oh, wait, I'm here... Ahhh let's see. Our official address is The Pink Floyd Sound House, On The Grass, The Dark Side Of The Moon, and the house is above the treeline and the clouds, on a hill which they say is too steep to climb (but it isn't really). To get here you have to ride a pillow of winds (fancy term for a lift). The house has a door with a shining crazy diamond lamp by it, and it opens into a hall (where every day, the paper boy brings papers). Off of the hall are the living room, dining room, theatre room, one of the bathrooms (which is decorated all green and submarine), and kitchen. I should also like to have a (very Echoes-y) labyrinth of coral caves, perhaps in the basement. And a garden, of course, with the black-and-green Scarecrow in it. Naturally we'll have a couple of memorial flower-beds, one for Syd Barrett and one for Rick Wright. My bedroom will be a tree-house alone in the clouds all blue, with an eider-down to lie upon, and lots of windows in the walls so that cloudless every day the sun will fall upon my waking eyes, inviting and inciting me to rise, and so I can throw them wide and call to it across the sky. Downstairs I will have my music room, sound-proof with a fancy stereo system, with all my guitars and records in it. That was long...

Sounds good to me, I'll have a room identical to the one I have in the BB House to keep up continuity.

And just for the record, here is the post in which I introduced the Pink Floyd Sound house. Though part of it ('The Pink Floyd Bible: Not quite as loud as words...') was originally thought up by pepperland in a conversation between he and I, and I amended it slightly. Teamwork

Well, I suppose I should design my room. Basically, my room consists of four white brick walls making a small square with a fifth one as a ceiling/roof. At almost the very tippy-top of one wall is a small window (though not quite as there is no glass and it really is just a hole in the wall), where Goodbye Blue Sky, Clouds (though not often Obscured by; this only happens when my cloudy friend is sad, or perhaps even angry when lightning and thunder bursting in your ear is present) and the occasional "look mummy, there's an aeroplane up in the sky." Inside the room is a cloud-themed bed, my record player and vinyl, the many different things mentioned in Nobody Home, and Empty Spaces (how should I fill them?)*. I spend most of my time in perfect isolation, writing poems in my little black book for my cloudy friend in the very low hopes that I'll ever properly see him again. Okay, that was a wee bit depressing and my cloudy friend isn't a Floyd reference, but I'm sure you'll understand. I might even draw a picture of my dwelling and post it up here once I find out how to do so (how do you do it The Lunatic ?) *okay, okay that wasn't an actual question, but a mere Floyd reference.

Wow, that was depressing. Anyways, I have since seen this "cloudy friend", so not-many-a-poem has been written lately. To fill this Time, however, I made cookies! They're brick-shaped, with vanilla icing. I've left them on the counter in the kitchen.

Yay cookies/biscuits! I shall take them with tea and Pink (he may not be an official member, but I think we can all agree that he is a necessary resident of this house). By the by, I have further decided that since Pink's character is gleaned from both Rogers, his physical aspect should reflect that: therefore my most recent character designs for Pink have his features as a blend of Roger Waters' and Roger Barrett's. (I really have no idea how I managed to combine their faces, but I did it: images to follow.) Pink has been working on an album, and seamusthesheepdog and I have been providing guitar and backing vocals and keyboards and whatnot. I'm so glad that Pink is Coming Back To Life and music after so long behind his Wall. I have also recently acquired a lovely little feline which I have named Ricky, in honour of my favourite Floyd who looks like a kitty cat (Lucifer Sam was too obvious, and anyway, Mad Bugger has a cat by that name). I told him to be a hip ship's cat somewhere, anywhere, but he didn't listen, preferring to survey a herd of stupid water bison stay and help me to end the day, so I let him. Now we are the best of friends -- he prefers to sit upon my typing fingers over anyone else's!

He's not as old as his namesake, obviously. I think he's about one year old or so. I'm not too sureeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeejkkkkdfllljkkkkkkkkkkksdddddddiuuuuuvcm'asd0-pxxxxxx RICKY GERROFMYHANDS!!!!!!! Blasted cat. ):< Pink's been feeling the Jubgand Glues, so I think I'll go stay and help him to end the day, so he won't feel alone or the weight of the stone. syd gilmour would you consider playing on Pink's record? We still don't have any drummerist tracks or much piano for that matter (but a few too many guitarers and quite enough bassers).

Mad Bugger I wasn't aware that you played anything, although if I am wrong, my sincerest apologies, and don't think I purposely overlooked you. We are always happy to have more musicians. At the very least, you could do backing vocals. Not sure why I didn't think of it before. meddler if you want to add some drum tracks, go right ahead. I'll see you all in the studio at three in the afternoon tomorrow! (Pile on many more layers, and I'll be joining ya there...)

That's okay though, I'm very new at it and so far I'm absolute rubbish at chords, so I'm fine with doing backing vocals. Thanks for still letting me join in with the game! I'll see you all in the studio at three in the afternoon tomorrow! (Pile on many more layers, and I'll be joining ya there...)
Oops... ...well, I missed that deadline. Oh well, maybe next time.

In my room there shall be a bed, a bureau, and 4 walls. (every square-inch embedded with speakers for a surround sound system.) That's all. (Oh gosh, I still don't have a room at the BBH... eh, whatever, I'll just use the hole transport system and come over here at night.)

Does the outside of the house look like Battersea Power Station by any chance? Oh, and my room is full of psychedelic artifacts (not the drugs though ) and a mirror that has the 'Piper' effect on it.
