If you're interested in alternate version-y things (and who isn't? Okay, maybe it's just us crazy lost diamond souls swimming in our green and submarine fish bowl) there are simply LOADS... here are the highlights: The classic demo of 'Money'-- and 'Time'-- this one is, amazingly, still quite possibly the worst I've ever heard, it's so terrible it's good: 'Hey You' band demo featuring surprisingly decent recording and a gorgeous vocal from Roger (if you can believe it, I just put 'gorgeous' and 'Roger' in the same sentence): Roger's The Wall demos, which Dave referred to as 'painful' to listen to, and I must concur. This here is a live recording of 'Dogs' back when it was 'You've Gotta Be Crazy', with too many words for Dave to sing very easily: You sure can waste an awful lot of 'Time' hanging around the Floydy demo-y part of YouTube town...

I just watched this for the first time and... WOW. That. Was. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Except that there wasn't enough Rick )
If I'd been there, I would have screamed my head off. Actually I did a bit just watching it, particularly when I recognised 'Comfortably Numb' (it sounded like 'Breathe' at first).
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH SUCH FABOSITY I'M DYIN'

I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw this, and had to go back over it several times, but look: Dave walks over to Roger and tunes his bass for him, and they don't miss a freaking beat. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE FLOYYYYD

I BRING MORE GOODIES
The Return Of The Son Of Nothing-- check out that first verse!
Me luvs me some Rogers
'Careful With That Axe, Eugene' isn't much of a song, but they sure could rock it live... WOO! Roger being his most rock-godly, and yes, Dave is wearing a t-shirt that says 'Gilmour Academy'.
Whoever shot this should be shot, but 'tis still great stuff.
Dear god, the Floyd were such an incredibly mind-blowingly awesome live band.

And speaking of live stuff, the ultimate Pink Floyd live experience (for us in the modern post-Floyd era ) is the Live At Pompeii film, which I just watched... again. Anyone even slightly interested in the Floyd should see it -- best hour of your life you'll spend! I've also found a series of 'Barn Jams' (and related events) with Dave and Rick: 'Oh, that note really pinged, I'll try it again' Sheer awesomeness. And the chaps themselves explaining all about it! Musical telepathy... I'm so jealous. In fifty years, perhaps. Seriously though, the interplay between those two is one of the most beautiful things on earth. I always thought they had the tightest musical partnership in the Floyd. If I were that kind of fangirl, I'd have 'shipped' them long ago...

I've already posted Rick's demo of 'Us And Them' above; here is yet another alternate version, the not-so-echoey mix that snippets of are heard in Live At Pompeii:
And here, someone cleverly combined the above with the original mix on the record:
I've often wished that the song went on for hours and hours; this extra minute-and-a-half is as close as it gets, I suppose.
Here's yet another (bootleg) alternate version:
...and finally, the live version, with a slightly different vocal lineup (warning: rutabaga quality audio ahead)...
Okay, I'm done obsessing over 'Us And Them'.

Erm... I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in Rick's thread, but I guess I'll just stick it here... They seem to be having so much fun during the 'Funky Dung (Echoes Edition)' bit, and that ending.... heaven on earth. I completely agree with Dave, it would be wrong to play this song without Rick. How I wish Rick were here. Edit: Did I mention that the sound quality is TERRIFIC?! It's almost as good as a studio recording! Marvellous.

I just had a nice time watching this: Although it's heartbreaking to see that Syd is not with them, I really liked it. Nick was incredible on drums and I found out that I find Rick quite cute, actually. But this moderator... he treats 'le Pink Floyd' as if they were some student amateur band

Here's a 1970 live version of If (I seem to be on a kick of them atm) with beautiful animations:
