I'm not sure if Rick currently being my favourite Floyd inspired this, or the other way around; either way, Rick is was a gorgeous human and a joy to draw. Isn't he beautiful? *sighs dreamily* When all's said and done, I do appreciate a pleasantly-proportioned face to eyeball upon... Yet again, very cool, FP! Anywho, have a pic of The Party Floyd Sound: AND, if you zoom in really close, Roger is just plain scary.

From left to right: Nick: It's amazing how a quintessentially English-looking chap could look so fab in Western gear and UHHH that face is a lil creepy Roger: Scaowy Rick: D'AWWW wookkadat cutie crustless pie. Syd: There he goes, the mad bugger, looking like George Harrifab again. How does he do it? Reminds me of this pic:

My little love-drawing to 'Echoes', as representative of RickandDave's lovely musical partnership (and possibly otherships if you go for that sort of thing ), complete in FAB Technicolour TM! They are playing as in Live At Pompeii, but the background is 'deep beneath the rolling waves' where 'everything is green and submarine'. And yes, 'Green Is The Colour'... my scanner just doesn't think so.

PICSPAM TIME
But anyways, back to my never-ending quest for the Elusive Rickysmiles. And loads of other smiles too! Pics of Ricks smiling are harder to find than pics of Pinks wearing frabjulous far-out clothes: WANT I thought the fangirls might appreciate this (I prefer the above loads of amazing clothes meself): I am not sure what is going on here but Roger's performance antics are freaking hilarious. As usual. (Nice WELLIES, mate)

As for the beach photo, they all look quite nice (though Roger looks best, in my humble opinion ). Although, I'm definitely not used to, erm, shirtless Rick.... T'is kind of foreign and ye don't see him like that very often, that is all!

No wonder Dave was trying to sell it to you. Plenty of shirtless Rick (and Dave) in that.

Loony. I approve. Sorry bout that, but I completely forgot the Rog drawing... it's mostly finished except for his bass, which is giving me troubles. I may just leave it blank and say it was for artistic reasons. Spoiler alert: he's shirtless *causes Mad Bugger to go into frenzy* I also have some other AMAZING (if I do say so meself) Floyd art to post -- more Pink! Though the latest one looks like a girl, so I decided it was his secret evil twin sister, Purple.

That moment when you actually notice the colour of Rick's and Nick's t-shirts on the cover of Ummagumma...

Here's an interesting interview with Storm Thorgerson in which some album art is discussed. www.stevencerio.com/2010/05/interview-with-storm-thorgerson-seconds-46/Which makes me think, which are your favourite Floyd covers? Mine would have to be Meddle, Animals, and The Division Bell. The first I feel suits the album perfectly, the second is very elegant and also suits nicely, and their third is just nice to look at.

Wish You Were Here and Ummagumma are my favorite covers.

I think right now mine would have to be between Animals (very suiting image and colours for the music encased within it), Wish You Were Here (again very suiting; it evokes a feeling of betrayal to me, or something of that sort. I don't think there's a word in the English language for it! ), Ummagumma (I think it's very cool and unique, and I love the setting and the way the Floyd are dressed {I dunno, but I do!}), Meddle, and Obscured by Clouds (both very simple, yet soothing; I haven't found any other album covers with the same {or similar} affect).

I posted this in the 'Pink' thread, but then I thought it should be here because it's pretty much my ultimate Pink Floyd imagery piece. A music-video-on-paper for the magnificent third verse of 'Echoes': Ummmmm ignore my {little Miss Steaks} like the backwards 'Inviting and Inciting' (I'll just say I was going by the Live At Pompeii version, that's my eggscuse!)... I had it in my head for at least a fortnight before storyboarding and then it took me about a month to properly do the colours and all. It was worth it!
