Eight years ago today, the world lost a brilliant musician. No words needed...

Lovely interview with Rick in 1974 -- post-DSOTM and pre-WYWH, a most interesting period for the band. I could listen to him talk all day... The image of Rick hopping on a lawnmower and shooting round the garden is absolutely priceless.

Just from Gerald The Mouse's avatar alone, you can tell how cool Rick is.

*rereads thread* *cringes* Oh the fangirling. Still, 'twas well-meant, and well-placed, I sheppose... Now that I'm a moderator, though, I have to be sombre and serious. {So just ignore this} Who else would love to take tea with Rick? And, like, ask him for a piano lesson. Or jam with him. Or something.
SIIIIIGH
Why do I have to adore dead musicians?
